My name is Ray Sheehan, I’m an award-winning cookbook author, chef, monthly contributor to Barbecue News Magazine and the founder of BBQ Buddha, a multi-award winning, all natural barbecue sauce and spice blend company based in New Egypt, New Jersey.
My passion for quality food led me to create the BBQ Buddha brand, where we focus on making products that are free of additives, artificial flavors, and colors – or as we like to say, “all the flavor without the junk”.
It's that promise that guides everything we do at BBQ Buddha.
I’ve worked in the food industry all my life. At an early age I’d spend countless hours at my grandfather’s farm where he gifted me an appreciation for hard work and honest good food.
In my 25+ years working in food service, I’ve seen businesses and trends come and go, many of those businesses losing focus for what is important.
Our mission is to create high quality food products in small batches, using only premium, all natural ingredients. Good food speaks for itself.
